Quantum Leap

I just remembered about Quantum Leap. I used to love it and then, inexplicably, it disappeared from my memory. How can you just forget an entire TV series?

Then after remembering Quantum Leap, I decided to look inside my brain for anything else I may have forgotten and I came up with thisAnd this And THIS.

I wonder what else I’ve forgotten…

  • American Gothic! I loved that! Aw I can really remember was that the wee boy in it was called Caleb.

I remember thinking that was a strange name.

Oh aye, and the Wonder Years. That was a fucking classic. Joe Cocker opening theme tune. Although I always forget Fred Savages name.

Not the name of his character, Kevin. But his own name.

    Fred Savage.

    Never heard of Sliders.

Anyone remember ‘Follifoot’? It was a program aboot a horse, think it was on Sunday mornings. The theme tune went a bit like this:

“Go, go, the lightning tree! Something something so easily…”

Another one that I remember is one my parents used tae watch but think I was too wee to be allowed to watch it:

    ‘The Equalizer’ with Edward Woodward.

    • Hahahah, ‘Follyfoot’ – I never watched it because it was about horses. Or it had horses in it, anyway. In fact, it probably had fuck all to do with horses but it looked pish and I HATE horses.

(I just looked it up on Wiki and it WAS about horses. HA – I was RIGHT to avoid it)

Here’s a link to the song (since you REALLY like it, hee hee) – http://www.follyfoot-tv.co.uk/episodes/themesong.html

‘Sliders’ was great. It was about parallel universes. Magic.

  • Literally sat here PISHING myself!

Flashbacks of my sister doing ‘air violin’ to the music.

  • I LOVED follyfoot, although I did not love horses. I remember quite liking the girl’s hair that was in it, and maybe also fancying the stable lad.

Update: have just looked it up and THIS is the hairstyle I wanted and the boy I fancied: http://follyfoot-tv.co.uk/LookIn7332Cen.jpg

    Mortified.

    • Hahahahahaha – her hair’s like that lassie’s from ‘Magpie’. I used to have the BEST 80’s PERM EVER. It was like this – http://i44.tinypic.com/inshg3.jpg

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!! (Same eyebrows and everything. Feel a wee bit nauseous)

Black Beauty as well. That was another one that got the severe bodyswerve. I can hear the theme tune in my head right now – makes me want to take a Black and Decker to my skull.

  • Haha.

    Unforgivable.

  • The Wonder Years was excellent. For a while it was the best programme on TV.
The rest I wasn’t into as much.

  • Fuck!I just looked inside my brain and found these lovely creatures.

  • I loved American Gothic. I have every episode taped, even though I was like…10? not sure now.

The wee guy, aye, loved that name Caleb and I think thats when my obsession for Texas started. Specifically Austin Texas, even though I dont think it was set there but there we are.

The Fast And The Furious – Tokyo Drift (good wee film). Main character….look familiar? My how he has grown eh? ;)

  • there was a rumour going about for a while that Marlyn Manson is the guy who was Fred Savage’s Jewish best pal from the wonder years (shite sentence). wisnae true but of you can be bothered to put their pictures side by side, (which I can’t right now otherwise I’d post a link to just that), you can see why it started and also why people bought into it.

    • Nic, I can picture him and it would be marvellous if it were true.

To be honest I didn’t actually LIKE ‘The Wonder Years’ but it was one of those very popular series that had just vanished from my brain (like so many other things, haha).

p.s. gauny go to gravatar.com and get a wee photie – that wee spidery monster is a bit freaky!

  • Dont like this show, the wife does, I cant stand it

” ‘Tokyo Drift’ – Excellent wee film (even though it was about cars and car films make me have the black rage – especially ‘Days of Thunder’ grrrrrrr).”

    Racist.

    • Here, Stillie. How do you know I’m no black myself? I could be blacker than Wesley Snipes in the Channel Tunnel during a power cut.
